BUG

I've just returned from BUG, and it was wonderful! BUG is a showcase of new and exciting music videos hosted by the extremely funny Adam Buxton at the BFI South Bank Centre. I thought I would try and share some of the awesomeness that I experienced tonight. There were some amazing videos shown tonight (some of which I've included down below.) I recommend going yourself for the full experience, but if you can't check out the videos, and BUG's youtube playlists for a feel of the advent.

Unknown Mortal Orchestra - Swim and Sleep (Like a Shark)

By- Becky and Joes

The Leisure Society - Fight For Everyone

By- Persistant Peril

Yeah Yeah Yeahs -Sacrilege
- By Megaforce.

Bad Motherfuka- Biting Elbows
  - Shot by Sergey Valyaev and Ilya Naishuller.
Video plays out like a first-person action game. Utilising GoPro-style technology, the viewer is transported into the middle of a desperate escape from an office full of secret agents and attack dogs.

PostSecret

A few years ago I bought a PostSecret book.  I only just re-discovered it again yesterday. Each secret feels like a small intimate snap-shot of a individuals life. They range from being hilariously funny to heart-wrenchingly sad. Reading through this book yesterday made me feel so grateful for the life I have.

Post secret was started by Frank Warren in 2005 and has grown ever since. New secrets are posted to his website frequently, and are sometimes exhibited or published.

You can send a post card to:
PostSecret,
13345 Cooper Ridge Rd,
Germantown, Maryland
20874-3454

"You are invited to anonymously contribute a secret to a group art project. Your secret can be regret, fear, betrayal, desire, confession or a childhood humiliation. Reveal anything- as long as it is true and you have never shared it with anyone before."

Tips-
Be brief,
Be Legible,
Be creative.

Good Morning Tuesday

Good morning Chrysa Koukoura, via post-man! I love getting mail. :D It always makes me feel rather grown up, anyways- I saw these prints by Miss koukoura a few days ago and had to have one. They will look lovely framed and hung.  There was a bit of commotion this morning as the post man woke me up at 7ish and I struggled to find something acceptable to open the front door in. Eventually I  did, but it was a little embarrassing.

This Little Bee has to be my favorite.

Another reason to be happy this morning besides mail is Elsa Mora's new Alphabet post on the amazing Art is a Way. Do check it out, her bird letters are beautiful. Also she has included a High-res link to download her alphabet so that anyone can use it.
